SECURITY AND DEVICE TRUST

Security controls for device testing workflows.

SingleIoT includes device identity, secure transport and account-scoped access controls to help teams manage test environments responsibly.

Device authentication

Devices authenticate using configured credentials or supported certificate-based identity. Identify-mode protocol definitions can recognize supported device identifiers.

TLS and certificates

Configure TLS-capable endpoints and manage device certificates, user certificate authorities and server certificates through the platform.

Encrypted integration secrets

Integration secrets are encrypted before storage. The platform supports envelope encryption for protected private-key material, with configurable key-wrapping options.

Account-scoped access

Device APIs are scoped to the account and its authorized team access. Administrative actions are separated from normal user access.

Retention controls

Frame storage and retention are governed by configured plan limits. Review your account settings to understand current data limits.

Operational protections

Connection safeguards and administrative controls help manage abusive connection attempts and review rejected device traffic.

Security is a shared responsibility

Use strong device credentials, protect private keys and administrator accounts, and configure only the endpoints and protocols your devices need. Do not send production secrets or sensitive personal data to a test environment unless your organization has approved that use.

SingleIoT does not claim a third-party security certification on this page. Contact us for questions about a specific security requirement or deployment configuration.
